Pet Care Tips

Keep Your Pet Warm this Winter

Cold weather is hard on people and their pets. Owners tend to forget that their pets are used to the warmth of a heated home. Do not leave your pets outside in the cold for extended periods of time.  If it's too cold for you, it's too cold for your housepet.

Keep the Holidays Fun for Everyone

Tinsel, pinetrees, poinsettias, fake snow....they make your home beautiful at the holidays, but they pose a real danger to your pet.  Keep strings, ribbons, sharp objects, and potential poisonous items away from your pet as they can cause gastrointestinal upset, blockages and severe reactions which can prove very dangerous to them. Remember too that table scraps, bones & candy - especially chocolate - are very bad for your pet's health.  Click here to see what items you should watch around your pet.
