Martin J. Siegel, DVM, Owner

Dr. Martin J. Siegel earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University, College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to purchasing Flemington Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Siegel was self-employed serving clients as a large animal veterinarian and small animal surgical consultant for four to five small animal clinics.

Dr. Siegel purchased the practice of Flemington Veterinary Hospital from Dr. Louis Bowers in 1996. The practice remained at the original location on Route 202 until December of 2006 when it moved into the new facility at 54 Voorhees Corner Road.

Flemington Veterinary Practice has an interesting history. The practice was founded by Carl Schenholm, also a Cornell graduate, and the original hospital was built in 1950 on Route 202. “At that time, the owner was living at 54 Voorhees Corner Road, our current address,” Dr. Siegel explains. In 2006, the practice moved into the home of its founder after the house was renovated and expanded with new practice space and brand new equipment.

“We are a compassionate, friendly, and talented veterinary practice,” says Dr. Siegel. “We work hard to provide a veterinary experience that we would want for our own pets.”

Dr. Siegel has six dogs, five cats, one horse, and two turtles.
